Numento is a five-piece progressive melodic death metal band from Finland. In their music, extreme metal styles are combined with a phenomenal and versatile female voice, ranging from operatic to deep growls. In selected songs, the Finnish national instrument kantele is adding a very unique, eerie sound to the atmosphere. The explosive live energy has earned the band the nickname "Prog Bomb". Numento always leaves the audience in awe with their aggressive sound, ethereal atmosphere and energetic live shows with jaw-dropping vocal performance.
The band's hard-working touring in Finland have built a solid audience, Numento has also performed successfully in Estonia and in February 2026 at the Sandstorm Metal Festival in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Numento has won the Tuska-torstai band competition 2022 and achieved second place in the international Wacken Metal Battle finals in Germany 2025. The band has released three albums so far; The Cataclysm (2019), The Vile Entity (2022) and the most recent is The Antimatter Fantasy (2024), which received 5/5 ratings.Bands is working for new EP to be released in the end of 2026, but also their 4th album.
